Is that Marja, Ted? How is her name pronounced. While on that subject, is Strutz pronounced to rhyme with but? A friend of mine thinks it would be pronounced more like the sound of the u in strudel.
No, this is my sister Mariya who lives in Friday Harbor.
We pronounce Strutz as ‘butz’. My grandfather pronounced it as your friend suggests, which was the German way. My father changed it. I don’t know why.
